Shifu Micro Sumo Robot – Equipo Educacion Urbana Argentina

Shifu Micro Sumo Robot – Equipo Educacion Urbana Argentina

When you build? And Duration of progress

I built it in 10 days. It is designed in Autocad and printed in 3D on PLA.

What was the hardest part you achieved?

Without a doubt, the most difficult was the arrangement of the micromotors and the total weight of the robot.

Robot’s Total Weight & Dimensions
98 grams
Dimesions: 5cm x 5cm x 4.8 cm

Maximum speed it can achieve
Not measured.

Which batteries it uses?
A 2-cell Lipo Nanotech battery 7.4V 300mAh.

Motor models and reduction system?
I use 50: 1 6 Volt Pololu motors

At your robot what is more stronger, torque or speed?
Torque

Also please explain your electronics. Which Microcontroller system is used? What is compliementary circuits like regulator boards, motor drivers or other sensors…
Use a mini arduino pro microcontroller and an L293d driver. It also has several buttons with combat strategies.

How did you made your PCBs, custom made or factory production? Or ready boards?
I bought a multi-perforated PCB and it was assembled there by hand.

How many sensors robot uses? What is Edge sensor and Opponent sensor Features?
1 Piece Pololu 38 kHz IR Proximity Sensor Opponent and 1 Line Sensor, Line sensor is ML1 Board

Are there any tournaments that robot competed? Any degrees?
I have competed in a single competition in Argentina getting a second place.

What do you plan for future on that robot?
Redesign one with higher speed and more sensors. And be able to attend international competitions.

If any JSumo product helped you please declare
If the ML1 sensor help me a lot.

If you have any questions, please comment below. I will try to help 🙂
